We lived in an apartment for just a few months and when we moved out, the management charged us $700, saying we ruined the carpet. We had had Sears Carpet Care come in the few months we were there and document that the carpet had YEARS of wear and tear on it.
When we refused to pay this, they turned us over to a collection agency and we can not rent another apartment for 7 years.
The managers lie, cheat, and steal, and are vindictive.
