CVS Caremark
CVS - Pharmacy

Miscellaneous

About 7 weeks ago, I received a csll from a CVS representative. Even though I am on a do not call list, I listened to her pitch. She offered me $25 if I would tranfer my prescription coverage from Walmart back to CVS. (I used CVS, Rantoul, IL about a year ago) I thought this was a good deal, so I gave her 3 of my prescription numbers. On June 6th, I went into the CVS Pharmacy for my prescriptions. My cost was $47.01, which I thought was a little high, but ishrugged it off for the moment and asked for my $25. I was told it would be mailed to me. I waited for a month, but never recieved my $25 in the mail so I transferred my prescriptions back to Walmart. I went to Walmart on July 10 to pick up these same prescriptions and my cost there was $15.63. This is a difference of $31.38.

I called the CVS pharmacy in Rantoul and explained all of this to him and demanded compensation. He said he would look into the matter and call back. I gave him my number and he called back shortly. He replied that they had mistakenly, only entered one of the three prescriptions into my insurance. I replied that rather than being $25 to the better out of a promised situation, I had lost $31.38. And, I asked what he was prepared to do about this. His reply was to offer me $25 if I would tranfer my prescriptions to CVS. That's it. This whole matter can be summed up in one word: FRAUD
