Account not recognized at login, forced to open new accounts

Every time I try to log on to Twitter, you do not recognize my name. I must open a new account, and I lose all my friends. Why should I bother? I want to talk to my daughter. I write down every day what I used to access the account, but it never works the next day. So tell me what gives. Or should I just forget you?
