Collected huge deposit money, performs no work and then abandoned project

Worldwide Windows install patio doors, windows and sunrooms. They have eight show rooms throughout California in Pleasant Hill, Hayward, Menlo Park, San Jose, Woodland Hills, Monrovia, Costa Mesa and Gardena. This was my experience: The salesman provided the contract wanted a 50% deposit. First a 10% deposit after the signed contract and another 40% after the window is measured a day or two later. That is it, no other work will be provided after they measured the windows and collected the money, no permits pulled and no windows ordered. Since the contract is not on duplicate forms, a copy of the signed contract will not provided.instead they provide a copy of the blank contract. With 50% of the money gone, the sales contact also disappeared and then the manager wont return phone calls either. Employees in this office play dumb and wont confirm the start date, have no clue if material ordered for the project. Seems like they throw the project file away after they collected the deposit. Can't do that, I have a paper trail. Dont see they have an in-house contractors license either. Reported Worldwide Windows to California Contractor State License Board. Its a boiler room operation, dont know how anyone could stay in business like this more profit if they just start and finish the job and collect the rest of the payment rather than scamming people. If more victims come forward, seems like a good candidate for class action. Stay away from Worldwide Windows. I found a good licensed window installer who doesn't require a deposit and wont take full payment until after installation and approved city inspection.
