Lanphir And Associates / National Payday Loan
Phone scam

I began receiving phone calls on August 9th from a company named Lanphir and associates (representing a fraudulent loan company called NATIONAL PAYDAY ADVANCE), calling from either the Castaic, CA telephone number (661) 210-4688, or a Florida, USA based (941) 961 8518 number. The calls were extremely threatnening, and an internet search pulled up many people that were scam victims or almost scammed.

The gentlemen (non-foolingly) states an American sounding name, with me he used "Ron Anderson" although the man spoke with a thick hindu or arabic accent, he leaves messages, calls frequently yet cannot verify an address of where to send these supposed payments, but insists they will be via credit card ONLY, and they can provide receipt only after the debt is paid. I alerted the gentlemen that I was aware of his scam and he threatened me with jail and told me "Best of luck" if I chose to ignore the calls, and said agents would come to my house and take me to court.

This led me to do an internet search of his fictitious "Lanphir Associates", and the "National Payday Loan" company they supposedly represent, all I found was many people scammed by the payday loan company (which operates out of a fake p.O. Box), and a plethora of people claiming to have been victim or almost victim to the scam.
