Last week I learned why I have always prefered to shop at your stores. It started a few years ago when I moved to a new town and the closest office supply store was Staples. Out of convience I shopped there and always had a positive experience. Once a product malfunctioned and when I returned it the store personel were friendy, helpful and above all proffesional.

Contrast that with my experience last week at Office Depot. First a flawed return policy (new this year), second the apparent lack of any training in customer service. I don't fault the employees as much as the entire company. These employees (while totally inept) were only following the rules layed out by the company. I now am painfully aware of those rules and find them unacceptable. Therfore I will cease buying any products for myself or for my company from Office Depot.

Thanks again for taking such good care of your customers. We will be doing business together long after the competition closes it's doors.
