Shipped package with $1500 worth of insurance, package gets destroyed, pieces are missing, and UPS won't pay up

I recently delivered a bundle with insurance to protect $1500. The bundle was delivered in a fresh container with all the correct presentation supplies. The deal came in 2 times, destroyed, lacking a $200 element and totally destroyed. The truth that anything was lacking from the covered pot, is poor enough, however advantages explained that by lacking them deal the cargo, I had been requesting to truly have the package broken into. THEREFORE essentially, advantages does not maintain their workers responsible, and even worse they wont spend the insurance.
