Customer service? I'm switching they took 50% of my paycheck for nsf charges and won't process a refund

Up until this week I was a fan of BOA. Their online banking is very user friendly - and any questions or concerns that need to be directed to an actual person, well you get someone right here in the US who actually speaks english.

This week I made a transfer from my savings to my checking. I made the transfer on Monday evening. This would have provided me with ample funds for the remainder of the week. Unfortunately, the transfer was never processed. I was using my check card throughout the week for small things, minimal charges - never thought twice about the potential of overdrafting my account.

Thursday I sign in to pay some bills, and low and behold I am overdrawn by over $150! This was obviously alarming to me - so I call the bank to find out the problem. Turns out my transfer never went through. I figured the phone call would go smoothly, no issues, they would simply see the error and refund the money.

Not the case. BOA continues charging me until I have upwards of $400 in NSF fees alone. I call incredibly upset, request a manager, beg and plead - nothing.'This is not a bank error. We cannot help you.' Thats it. Nothing. They would do absolutely nothing for me.

The only news that they had for me was that I was most likely going to be receiving more NSF fees, none of which I would receive refunds for. I immediately closed out two of my other accounts and plan to have my primary checking closed beginning of next week. I would never recommend this bank to anyone. They are thieves.
