Ripped off for $3,000 from housing assistance/the hall firm florida

I recieved a call from a tarrence davis from housing assistance/the hall firm from boca riton florida, he told me that they could lower my mortgage payment and interest rate, the fool that i am fell for the scam and sent a personal check for $3,000, after they recieved the check i got several phone calls from the company, then i didnt hear anything for 3-4 weeks, then i called and all phone numbers were disconnected, i then did some research and found out that they closed up shop and moved to a new address and had new phone numbers, i calles the number and asked for tarrence davis but the coward wouldnt get on the phone, then i called back 5 times threatened to drive to florida to the new address and finally i got lied to again, this guy rich said he was working on my file, and they should hear back from my lender by the end of the month which is july... Now today is july 27th and i have been trying to call the new company all day. It seems the phones are off once again, now let me add that im now behind on my mortgage, THESE PEOPLE NEED TO GO TO PRISON
