Gender Discrimination, Failure of payment to employee

I went to work for Tri Universal selling a common television service at Best Buy and Sam's Club on June 25. I didn't mind being a sells representative, trying to save people money on their cable bills. When I started hearing most of the men I worked with lie to potential customers; that's where I told my self I need to find another job ASAP.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to find another job before I quit. On Sunday, July 5, I woke up with my menstrual cycle and called in sick. When I called my manager, Amir, he told me he knew many women who could just take pills and be on their day. Well, I finally broke down and said I'd be in to work later than morning. I took several Midol & Tylenol capsules left my house. When I got to work in Riverside, my cramps were so bad I nearly fainted on several occasions.

When I took my lunch, I had such a severe bloody nose that I had to leave! My bloody nose lasted for over 30 minutes and I could barely drive back home. The next morning, my husband and I discussed the situation and we decided that Tri Universal was not a reputable place to work, at least not for women who get their cycles with cramps and bloody noses.

I still haven't gotten my last checks that I WORKED hard for! I'm pissed that people take advantage of me and want someone to respect me for who I am, not whether I am male or female.
