Negative Credit Report From Account Opened at Age 16

I pulled my credit report and found out that I have a negative reporting on it from walmart. At the time it was opened I was only 16 years old. When I called them to inquire about it, I was told that they (walmart) had no information under my ss# and could not help me, and that it might have been an error. Right! Now its up to me to get it fixed.
