I got scammed by the goverment of NJ " The Soprano State "

Miscellaneous

I put my house up for sale in April of I had a underground oil tank and was told by the real estate agent that the oil tank had to be removed... She said it was a law in NJ. She lied there is no such law. I hand a new tank installed and the old one pulled out, this took place between May and June. My closing date was June 23. I paid $4000 out of pocket to install and remove the tanks. I was told by my oil comany the there is a goverment grant that would reimburse me... The oil company gave me a application, the application had "Frequently asked Questions" one answer was to submit the NJEDA incomplete prior to the date of sale. I went to my oil company on June 29th 6 days after colsing... I was there for two hours filling out my application and they mailed my application and I also had to pay $250 for a processing fee which I don't understand way I had to pay such a high fee for some lazy state worker who gets 100 day off a year and will have benefits for the rest of their life thanks to the tax payers of NJ. I am unemployed and spent my savings to have these tanks pulld out and insalled and now I get a letter on July 8th telling me my request has no been approved. I lived in the home for 23 years and I was lied to by the real estate agent... I know it's hard to get home owners with an inground tank. I really think NJ is run buy unions and the mob and the worst of all John Corzine.
