Unprofessional Drivers and scammers

First off all I believe this company is a scam and have very unprofessional drivers. I first chose this company after days and days of looking for a company to relocate my household goods from one state to another. I received numerous emails and phone calls from different companies and in the end I had to choose one. I received one quote from Prestige and in the end it was doubled by the time they packed and delivered my items.

I could not physically be there when my items was weighted because I live in another state and my items was being picked up from a storage unit, which had already weighed my items. Do not use this company, if you want to feel as if you are getting your monies worth it is best that you pack and deliver your own belongings.

My price was doubled and I was told I had to pay extra for packing materials which I did.in the end when the driver arrived he was late, rude and lazy. He was alone which was a shock for someone to drive and deliver over 1000 miles by themself. Then the driver tried to charge me extra for the blankets that my items was wrapped in, I just told him he could take his blankets off and keep them because I was not paying that company not another dime.

I just want people to know I am not writing about this company just because this was a personal experience that I just recently had with them. I even checked out this company on the BBB before allowing them to do the job and the grade was a good grade, however I trusted the person who quoted me and the supervisor before I chose to do business with them and needless to say I was disappointed and ripped off for extra money but at the end of the day I am just glad to be done with them and I have my items.

If you get ripped off from this company please post about it so other hard working people will know because times are hard and people do not have money to waste to a scamming company and this company does not have very good customer service. I could not believe that the driver tried to make extra money on the side by trying to sell me blankets. I consider that a scam because no where in the contract does it state that once your items are delivered they will take their items back, so the real question is what do you pay for as packing material if they take their items back once they deliver your stuff.

I was scammed for extra money because they said my items was doubled in weight and when the truck arrived it was stuffed in the back of the truck with about 2-3 other families belongings on the truck so how can they give cutomers an accurate rate for your items. Please people do not use this company, or make sure to do your research and be present when they take your items to weigh them. I would not sugget this company at all to nobody.
