Toner Fraud

National Imaging Systems shipped a toner cartridge without authorization for a printer that we don't even have and billed us $198 plus shipping.

When I called to let them know that we had not ordered the product and wanted to make arrangements to return it, they insisted that we had ordered the product and it was too late to return it.

I reported them to the FTC and sent a certified letter again offering them the opportunity to reclaim the unauthorized shipment and credit our account.

I received a call today demanding payment. When I refused, Suzie threatened to report against our credit. She was also very insistent to talk to my manager. She was sure that my "boss" wouldn't appreciate me jeopardizing our credit.

I have no intention of paying the bill. I hope everyone that has been scammed by this company also refuses to pay.

They deserve to be stalked the way they stalk others. I have mailed them an invoice for storage of the toner cartridge and I plan to aggressively pursue payment of that invoice. I doubt that it will discourage their fraudulent practices, but it might make me feel better.
