Now for a couple of key points here, they never mention in the letter what the company does. Another thing to note is that many students do not really know appt. Or the business, so it gave me the impression of $16.75 an hour. So I was curious and set up and appointment for the interview. Many times the operator that I asked had to go on hold and even she didn't give me information on what Vector was.

When it came to the interview, I was stuck in a room full of people I did not know. They "reviewed" two people at a time, and from what I saw, everyone in the room qualified for the second interview. There, he "interviewed ten people at one time. He didn't ask us a single question, but presented the information we were going for. He used scissors to make a penny a cork screw, and knives to cut leather and rope to show it was better, and said it was from a material most likely no one in the room understood, even the recruiter.

Afterwards, he explained the payment form, and when they said it had nothing to do with door-to-door sales or over-the-phone sale, it sounded exactly like that! You had to call to come set up and appointment, then you go into their house to show them the knives, in which you have to "make a deposit" for a demo set around $175. And really, when you think about it, would you let some stranger with many knives into your home?

Afterwards, we had to fill a sheet out with some general questions like "What will you bring to the company?" "What do you rate is most important?" Once I filed it out, I headed home and waited for the call to see if I was in.

During the waiting time, I did my research and found out a lot of negative information, so when the day I was called and told I was accepted, I denied and said it wasn't fit for me. He may be holding onto my application for IF I want to come back, but it's not like I will be GOING back.

So if you get that letter or see the ad, don't fall for it. It will save you lots of time and money.
