Got ripped off harassed by interstate readers league

I got a phone call one day stating I was the lucky winner of a trip to the bahamas and his and her diamond watches. He also told me I was being entered into a drawing to win a large amount of money. He told me I had no obligations.

He asked me for my bank account info and when i asked why they told incase I won the drawing they needed somewhere to send the money. After I gave it to them he proceeded to ask me what types of magazines I read.

Towards the end of the conversation he told me I would be receiving magazines at no mcost to me. I thought it was sounded really fishy. I told him to forget it. Less than a month later I started receiving a bunch of business magazines, sports magazines, and getting my account debited for 43.75 a month.

I have never received my watches, my trip, or heard anything else about the drawing. I have stopped payment on the account. And have refused the magazines and returned them to the sender. I have called customer service on numerous occassions and they tell me there's nothing they can do. I have written them letters, they say they have not received them.

They call all the time and still no resolution. I received a letter dated June 1st from Harold K. Corbin Attorny at law, stating i need to pay balance of 647.60 within ten days or they will take further action. A few days later I got a harassing phone call from Mr. Corbin. He asked me my side and when i tried to tell him he yelled over me calling me a liar. He said the original conversation was recorded. If that is true then I want access to that recording.

I want to take action on this issue as soon as possible. I feel that they have stolen from me and taken food from my children's mouths.
