Harrasement and False accusations

About a week ago I posted a blog on this website www.athomedad.org in the forum section about how I just bought a new Harley Davidson and wanted some suggestions on how to upgrade my new bike to make it look the best.

So two days ago I get a threatening phone call from some guy named Mike who is the apparent owner of this website saying I need to pay him $1,000 right now or he'll sue me! When I asked why he said because I used the word "Harley Davidson" on his wesbite and I am promoting their product. I laughed and told him this was absolutely absurd, we live in a free country and I can say anything I want and that I DO NOT have anything to do with Harley except that I bought a bike from them.

I then inquired as to how he even got my phone number and he said he traced my IP address to my service provider and he has a "software program" that can tell him what landline that modem uses. This sounds like a stalker to me and quite probably a violation of privacy! ANyhow I ended the conversation with him and then called a friend of mine who happens to be a sherriff where I live. He said this man has no grounds for anything and to contact the police if he harrasses me again.

So TODAY I receive an invoice from this maniac in the amount of $1,000 to my home address from his company Digital Altitudes, LLC out of Arlington Heights, Illinois. This is so ridiculous I don't even know where to begin! Must I hire an attorney? How can someone charge you money for posting in a forum?

EVERYONE BEWARE OF THIS WEBSITE AND THIS COMPANY. I've already filed a complaint with the BBB and am contacting the local police in Illinois to get this physco to stop contacting me. It's disturbing how he found my phone number and the address to my house all from me just posting a question on a forum.
