My name is Kevin C. Im a former employee of EVO Merchant Services in Charleston, SC. I've worked with EVO the past ten months, and over that short period of time i have discoverd not only racial discrimination on me, and others, but fraudulent activities during the underwriting process.

The owner's name is Christian Mauwer Jr. He never paid me and a few other sales reps on time, Nor gave any explinations as to why, an when he did pay. He docked pay checks for fees that were never explained. He consitantly changed the pay scale without notice, and refused to compinsate for any lost currency.in the event that someone should leave the company. Any floating deals that were processed and funded from the work of the rep. He would refuse to pay, without reason, or discussion.

Myself, and another rep by the name of Eric Waiters, were the only African American sales reps that were present during this time. I noticed that he would treat us a little diffrent then the rest of the sales reps, but never once i thought it would be to a racial degree. Christian one day suddenly released Mr. Waiters from his job without notice, and, pay for the deals that were already currently processed. After that took place i started to see the discrimination in plane veiw. I wasnt recieving my pay checks on fridays like everyone else. Then once i recieved my paycheck it was docked with fees that were never explained. An when i tried to speak with him about it. He refused to have a discussion with me concerning my check. So like anyone esle i seeked a better oppurtunity with another company who will not only pay me on time, but treat me farely (Electronic Merchant Systems). When Christain found out that i took a better offer. He called the owner of (EMS) and told them lies about me being a convicted felon for crack cocaine substance abuse, and that i should be watched for fraudulent activities, Which is very childish, and unprofessional.

In close, the owner of EVO Merchant Services in Charleston is running a very crooked bussiness. He is not only "NOT" paying his employees correctly, but he is also processing deals that were never confirmed by the customers. They change the rates on the customers whenever they want to, an charge annual fees more then twice a year. Do u want to be a victom of this type of curlety? If not, i suggest no one do any bussiness with a company who steals money form there employees and customers. I will put an end to this.
