C.S. Choi - president americas for samsung samsung & c.S. Choi ignore letter to repair defective hcl4715 w (6 y.O.) tv

I purchased a $1,500.00 Projection TV (HCL4715W) made by Samsung at Sears in Deptford, NJ.
Two-weeks ago, the picture bent and it lost its focus. I was told by a Samsung authorized dealer, the cost to repair the set was a minimum of $250.00 for parts on a "convergent board" with a 90 warranty, BUT, even worse, the Blue-RAY tube will eventually die on me and I will be left with a $1,500.00 $250.00 shell of a TV. The tech recommended that I just trash the TV. He said this TV when it's works, its a super TV, but so many have failed that its a nightmare for Samsung, that is why they discontinued it, they cannot even get projection tubes for it.

I contacted Samsung, they give you a Transaction number, I spoke with four people sent a letter to the President C.S. Choi, this guy hasn't responded to my letter. I requested that Samsung simply pay for my TV repair or Replace the TV.

I should not have to purchase or repair a new TV costing $1,500.00 and only 6-years-old. I am sure there are others out there with the same problem.

I am surprised that Samsung did not place this TV and its Convergent Board and Blue Ray tube on the RECALL LIST and be honest about the defective Sanyo Chips on the convergent boards that burn up along with some capactors and resistors.

Samsung should be banned from selling any products in the usa, unless they begin to stand behind their products when a large percentage fail.
I am planning to file a case against samsung with the federal trade commission and other government agencies.

I also plan to twitter, facebook and google about samsung defective products globally.
