You won't get YOUR DEER Hide back

We dropped off a first deer, deer hide in Jan. 2007. Calling monthly to see when it would be ready. They said we can pick up a hide right away, but not ours. We said that defeats the purpose, their response was nobody will know the difference. We refused and demanded our hide. Finally Dec. 2008 they told us it was ready. Picking up to find it destroyed... Missing patches of hair, shaggy and rough texture. Irritated, but just glad to have the sentimental first deer hide back. Come to find out once the hunter looked at it, it was not his deer. The hair was from deer shot in the spring, he got his in Nov. The hole was extra large, one of an arrow, not a bullet he used. To top it off, he shot it 2 times and this hide only had one hole and it was no where near the places he shot it. This company is defeating the reason hunters bring their deer in to get tanned and are being unethical in their behavior to provide false hide claiming it is the hunters picking up. When we called to complain about the texture of the hide they said drop it off and they will give us a new one. Again, defeats the purpose! They are misleading hunters and that is not right. Be Ware!
