Mystery Shopping and Paid Survey

In my mail I got this white plan envelope with a labe with me name and address on it.in side of the envelope was a letter and a survey sheet with a check for 2,988.48. I read the letter and it was telling me what to do for the frist survey to go to a western Union location close to me, and fill out the survey sheet fax it back to them and it was also telling me to deposit the check in to my checking account and that it would take two busniess days to clear. And for the second survey I can take 100.00 and go to home depot, gap, jcpennys, k-mart or sears. And buy products of my chocie and fax the receipts back to them, and the things that I buy and can keep. They gave me a number to call to see if I understand that to do and a representative Id # also. The company I can't find when I looked it up online and looked up the bank online, and got the phone number and called the bank to see if the check was good or not, and the check isn't good at all. You need to look up things online and call before you do anything, If I would have deposit this check in to my checking account they would have cleaned me out.
