Donny Sanburg (Sanberg) Lisa Smith, Jared Davis, all of those mentioned are rip off artist, On the afternoon of December 21st i heard a knock at my doorI I was greeted by a young woman, she told me her name was "Lisa" from Elite Roofing, She told me there company was licensed and insured and they had been in business in texas for 5 years. Lisa also told me they had in house crews that do the work and they didnt use subcontractors. She claimed they had workmans compensation insurance as well.

After awhile she said she would bring back the priciples of the company shortly, a Mr. Jared Davis and Donny Sanberg came to my door shortly after, They claimed to be the owners of the company. They told me they were certified by many shingle manufacturers. Mr. Davis also told me he had been roofing all his life. Thye tried their best to get my insurance information. They stated they could put in a supplement claim and possibly put money in my pocket after having my roof done. They walked around my home and pointed out none existant damage. I told them I Just wanted what was coming to me for my roof and to not get involved in the damages they imagined. Lisa talked to my wife while i was out with the other two.

She convinced my wife the roof needed immediate attention, by scareing her into believing the damage was worse than it was. My Wife told me to pay themand have the roof repaired on the spot. I was put on the spot and asked how much to fix the roof. Mr. Sanberg stated it would cost $2500.00 I agreed with a hand written contract. Mr. Sanberg went on the roof with a caulking gun and was there for all of about 3 minutes he then came down and requested a check for $2500.00. I refused to pay him and they made threats toward my home i filed a complaint with the police department. I did however give Mr. Sanberg a check for $100.00 the roof still leaks and they are not in business any longer. Please use caution when a knock on your door sales pitch is used.

As it turns out another roofer did knock on my door, they were very professional and we did finally have our roof repaired by this local company. The person that did our roof was) He gave us a factory gaurantee, when the roof was finished the grounds were imMaculate and we have not had a problem sinse. He requested I write this letter on rippoff report.com as he did me a favor I will pay it forward.) is a man of his word and does what he says he will do. TElite roofing company are scammers and prey on fearful people. They should be locked up and the key thrown away.
