Robin Martinelli made false promises and misrepresented her services to secure a $10,000 retainer up front from her clients.

Ms. Martinelli made promises she did not keep and made false representations of herself. She stated she was a former police officer and had good connections with law enforcement that she would use to help further a criminal investigation. She is not a former police officer and this statement was a huge factor in her clients' deciding to pay an exorbitant retainer.

She stated she would shop our case to law enforcement and attorneys. To this date she has asked one attorney about taking our case and he has agreed to take it only on financially prohibitive terms. She has not contacted anyone in law enforcement. This assertion by Ms. Martinelli was a huge factor in the decision to hire her and pay her exorbitant retainer.

She stated that a website had been created for her clients for the company she pretended to represent in her investigation. This statement was false. No website was or has been created.

She said that the eight people at the conference the night we met with her would be working on our case - we've never seen or heard from five of them again. I do not know if any of them are officially employed by her as agents of her company and it is doubtful that they are officially registered with the licensing board as required by law.

She stated that she would contact us weekly with updates about our case. Weekly telephone conferences did not occur and most often clients had to call her several times in order to get a return phone call from her.

She lost original records and then refused to call us back after she was telephoned/texted six times regarding the lost documents. The records had to be re-requested and paid for from the medical facilities by clients.

Her services were consistently poorly performed and off the cuff, when services were performed at all. Copies of transcripts of meetings demonstrate lack of forethought or preparation on Ms. Martinelli's part about any aspect of the investigation.

Robin did not follow through on her promise to use her media connections to further clients' legal action. She stated in a recent text message to clients that they could contact the media themselves.

Ms. Martinelli never formulated a specific action plan or a budgeting of hours to accomplish the laundry list of investigative tasks requested by clients. Most of these investigative tasks were not started or completed.

She refused to send an itemized statement of how clients' $10,000 was spent until repeated and, finally, angry requests from clients.

She refused to give us copies of the transcripts from her meetings with the person being investigated until May 17 after repeated requests. When received, the transcripts contained no information of value to clients.
