I have recently fallen victim to what would seem to be a serious internet scam. I purchased " Celebrity Sexy Teeth Whitener", I did not knowingly enrol in their VIP scheme but was "conned" into applying for a rebate, which led to another company, to whom I did not knowingly give my card details to.

Since doing this I have taken delivery of the product, but it is as big a sham as the company and I have had several amounts of money withdrawn from my card account.

I have been shopping on the internet for several years now and have never encountered anything like this before.

I have now done some research on-line (which I wished I had done before purchasing the product) and have found that many many (thousands) of other people have fallen pray to the same problems and unfortunately, we as private individuals, have very little come back against the companies, even the card suppliers are reticent to get involved due to legislation in place both here in England and the US regarding this type of fraud.
