Weight Loss Centers In California they are an unorginized, shady, dishonest, company don't trust them!

I went to 1800 get slim, and saw the Dr. He was nice to me but the staff itself was very unorginized, first of all they forgot to call me in with the rest of the group for the seminar, So I waited another hour. After being seen by the doctor, and talking to him, they set me an appointment for an endoscopy, I got approved by my insurance (tricare) but was told they were out of network and I would have to pay 300. Plus half of the cost of the surgery. I then spoke to one of their insurance "specialists" (Catherine) watch out for her, shes a liar. She told me I would only have to pay the 300 out of my own pocket, she then started to talk bad about my insurance, saying that they would try to convince me to go in network, also saying that tricare cannot do that to me. So I was sceptical, and asked her if she could have that in writing, She told me to write a letter of finacial hardships, and fax it to her, She told me that she would reply in the letter stating I would only pay 300.00 out of my own pocket. My husband faxed her the letter. She never replied, I called she never picked up the phone, everytime I would call. They told me "shes out of the office" "shes not here" and would send me to her voicemail. Even my husband called and left a message. She never replied. My surgery date was suppose to be in two weeks from today, Finally I get a call from her, and she left a message on my phone saying she has a problem with my records, Asking what my highest weight was at any given time. Wow I already told them this in the doctors visit. And she was the one who sent my paper work to my insurance company, so this is stuff that she should already know and had already read. I called her back, but spoke to another lady not her. Gave my information once again... Then an hour later they called me from the beverlly office telling me that My insurance called them and had problems with my weight, then denied me after already approving me. I thought this was odd, since tricare is military, very orginized and has never done that to me or my family in my experience with them. So I called tricare. They told me "NO your still approved, then she read more and said my provider, which is them had canceled " SO I was furious because not only did they lie to me about my insurance saying they denied me, They called my insurance and canceled, two weeks before my surgery! Honestly I think this Catherine lady could not put things in writing and didn't want to be held accountible for anything, So she canceled my approvel. If they we're professional then why did she call me to ask about my weight as if I lied to begin with? Didn't she already read over my paperwork, thats her job right. I've heard nothing but negitive things about this company. Oh yea and when they gave me a surgery date, they Never once told me to get ready to go on a pre-liquid diet. I had to call them several times, then they finally told me it wasnt required since my bmi wasnt 35. These people are shady. Watch out for them, they will lie to you and their customer service is awful.in a way I am happy this happened because they made me nervous about everything., don't put your life in their hands seriously.
