I was approached today (03 June 09), by a door to door saleperson about this "wonderful" cleaning product that was perfect for a family with a small child and dog. He went on to say that even if ingested, it would not be harmful. I was definitely interested. He then began his song and dance... He first spayed the product on my glass storm door and showed me that little fingers wouldn't leave prints after cleaning it, nor would the dog's drool. He then sprayed it on the brass light on the porch and explained it could even clean and polish it with just one product instead of a brass cleaner and polisher. He took out his pen and scribbled on a rag in his hand and showed how it came off so quickly and easily. I was convinced. So I told him I would purchase the smaller bottle. He said unfortunately he had "sold out" out of the small ones and only had the 1 Gallon left. I was a little hesitant, but the demonstration was so convincing I purchased it ($73.50). Shortly after he left, I went in the house to try out my new and improved cleaner... I couldn't be more WRONG. It it absolutely nothing that he showed me. I even tried it without diluting it, as he told me to do. It certainly didn't work like the product he had demonstrating on my front steps. I went back outside to see if he was still in the neighborhood doing his door to door sales pitch. I found him, but he would not acknowledge me. I would like to say, I was able to one up this lying scam artist... I contacted my bank and but an immediate stop-payment on the check. Let's see who gets the last laugh now! He sold me a product that is crap and once the sale was made, he was off to the next gulible parent. I eagerly anticipating the telephone call I receive when the check doesn't clear.
