US Work Alliance
US Postal Exam

Miscellaneous

A year ago I saw their add on an Internet site (careerbuilders.com) and called. Paid for the book $129.95 and received it in the date I was told I was going to, so no problem so far.

The first time I tried to access their web page, it kept giving me an error message, and since it was not possible to open, I called their 1-800 number. For my surprise they answered and I applied for the exams, in the beggining of the book, page 6 to be more speciffic it clearly states that our first step is to apply for an exam, and that the easiest way is to do it oline through their webpage. I finally applied over the phone and it was sent me only once a letter in which it gave me a date to take the exam. I called the 1-800 number again stating I could not go that date, if there was any other dates I could attend it. I had a full time job at the moment so I decided to wait a little more.

It was told me I had 1 year to do that, so I applied for the exam again and never heard of them since.
In the beggining of 2009 I tried again their 1-800 number and for my surprise that number does not exist, so even if I wanted to get my money back I couldn't.

I've been trying to contact them and get any information about this company since October without any success. If anyone has any information pertaining this particular company I'd appreciate if you could share it with me. I feel like I was Ripped Off, not only because of the money, but also because I could never even get a chance to take the Postal Battery Exam.
