Lets start with the way this individual and others like him operate...
You will be contacted in reference to your credit card processing.
You will be told of the tremendous savings they can offer because of their connection (which they lie about) to Visa/Master Card.
You will have a person show up at your place of business who has been trained to deceive you, show you how much money you can save by processing with his company and that even with the monthly lease payment of $% you will still see a savings of xxxx dollars.
Sound familiar? Have you been scammed? Want to do something about it? Me too!
If you are approached by a person like this in the state of Florida his name is probably Knut Werpen. He is a dirt bag of the highest degree. He has scammed countless people into this nightmare.
The company Knut works for is called Wholesale Merchant Services/Processing. Todd McCartney is the guy who runs Wholesale. He has gotten rich by outsmarting small business owners and side stepping the law. We just got screwed by the Wall Street fat cats... Why put up with this anymore. Lets not let Todd laugh all the way to the bank with our hard earned money! Todd is like a crime boss and the lease companies LFG and Ladco are his muscle. What you get when you do business with these people is thinly veiled extortion. They hold your good name and your credit rating over for ransom. I would like to organize a class action law suite against Knut, others like him and the company they work for. I would also like to see the law changed... A law that allows them the luxury of hiding behind a little loophole you are probably not aware of. Because of way the lease you signed is worded and how the law is structured. The lease companies can wreck your credit, harass you relentlessly, charge for things that were not discussed and seemingly never stop charging you even after the term of the lease. This is a business to business transaction which means you are not protected under the same laws as a general consumer would be. These companies target small businesses based on the fact that we do not have the knowledge or the resources to fight once they have tricked us.
I aim to change that! I want your help. If you have been scammed by these people? If you know where Knut Werpen is? If you can catch one of these guys lying to you on tape? Let me know and we will start to see this kind of predation come to an end. DON"T SIGN ANYTHING WITHOUT READING IT FULLY! Take the time and research the "deal" that is being offered. There are plenty of companies that process credit cards that are legitimate and can offer a better deal without a noncancelable lease attached. Get off your butt, get pissed and don't take it anymore! If we get organized things can change! If you live near the headquarters of Wholesale Merchant Services in Oregon.organize a group to picket in front of the building. Let's get these guys the attention they deserve... Like a nice ambush interview by 20/20 or 60 Minutes (both of which should get letters from you as well... Along with a complaint to your state's attorney general).
