Beware: Extreme Mastering Studio Morphing Into Another Studio?

On Thursday, May 28, we received an email from the "new owner" of Extreme Mastering Studio. Their website has disappeared and the phones (that they never answered) are now officially disconnected. Here is the email so you can see the new "owner's" name and recognize the approach if the same or similar comes to you:

The company "Extreme Mastering" and all equipment has recently been purchased from the original owners by our private studio. We have just received your email about this missing project and if you can tell us if these are revisions that need to be done or just basic mastering. If you can give us the go ahead to do the work, we will get it done and sent out right away. We have the project on file here so please let us know what needs to be done to the project.

Please inform us if we should complete your mastering project.
