They fake filled my walls and I found them out

Miscellaneous

I hired this company to insulate my existing home with foam in the exterior walls and cellulose in my attic. The contract called for the foam to be done from the outside of my home by removing some siding and putting it back. But upon arrival on the set date, they said they were afraid that the damage done to my siding would be worse than they expected. So I agreed to allow the work to be done from inside.

They drilled 3" holes about every 15" across all my outer walls, started the foam injection, so I got out of the way, trusting they were professionals and didn't need my supervision. They finished up, patched the holes, and I paid them in full. They were at my home 4 hours.

I began getting suspicious when I realized that my home was no quieter, as the owner repeatedly told me it would be, so i drilled a 1" test hole in a wall, and found no insulation. 18 test holes later, all in various areas, I still had found no insulation. After futher
investigation, including a cable camera run down into my walls, I realized that the men had not insulated my walls at all, they had simply injected enough foam around the holes to make it appear they had.
I called the company back, and told them I had discovered their deception, insisted that thay come back and do the job properly.

The day they returned, they began drilling new holes. 403 to be exact.instead of using the original ones. They did fill all my walls this time, I know because I stood there watching from start to finish, including camcording the job.

Now my home is a wreck. Estimates I have gotten to repair and repaint have run from 2800 to 3400 dollars, actually doubling the cost of the job. To be fair, the owner did have several excuses for my empty walls. The first was shrinkage. But how did the foam all shrink from my ceiling and floor, leaving no trace at all, to gather in a small clump around the holes it was injected into? Wierd. The second excuse was that they mixed the foam wrong. So, what if they mixed it wrong the second time? Do I have empty walls still? The third was that they didn't use hot water for mixing. Why? They could have used my hot water, if that was called for.
This time they were at my home for 8 hours.
