Supposed to be hired to do medical billing from home New York

I paid $299 last August to supposedly be a medical biller and help doctors file their bills electronically. I was to be paid directly by the doctors anywhere from $3-$7 per paper claim. I have sent out 6 batches of letters and have not received 1 reply from anyone. I decided to check out some of the doctors addresses and found out that some were not even listed in the phone books for their town, or they had such odd addresses that they made no sense at all. When I talked to their "rep" she had some dumb excuse, and then got extremely angry that I questioned her. As the woman from Texas said in her reprt last fall, their software was very odd and wouldn't work with what I had. I also noticed that the software they sent was some homemade crap that they did on a computer that was using Word 97!! When I asked about signing up some doctors right in my hometown, she had all kinds of excuses. I have been keeping on with them since last August, and am completely disgusted. I even had to get an account with the IRS and be approved by my home state with an official business name. I see now it was just a waste of time and money. I figure with the cost of the software, attorney fees and postage that I have lost around $500. If the lady from Texas should read this, please write back to this website and tell if she got any where with these people. I would love to know what happened to her.
