Sent an Acceptance Letter (Secret Shopper) and a check for $3,985.00

In the letter I recieved I was informed that I was selected to participate in a paid "Mystery Shoppers program". I would be working as a consumer Service Evaluator of some selected merchant outlets and service providers, such as, Money Gram, Western Union, Gap, McDonalds, Home Depot, Blockbuster, Sears, Wal-mart, just to name a few.

Was informed that I would need to call the account Manager, assinged to me, at 1-289-892-4306. I was also informed that due to the high volume of calls, that my call was not able to be answered and the company could not call anyone back, so please call back again later. Kept getting the same message every time I called back. Was suppose to get instructions and to get the enclosed payroll check activated.

The breakdown of how the money was to be spent; 1. My salary - $600.00; 2. Required fund to be transferred to area manager, Lorena Gardner in Brooklyn, NY - $2,995.00; 3. Sending fees, fund transfer - $140.00; 4. Fund needed for shopping - $250.00 and I would get to keep items purchased.

I also noticed that there was no phone # or fax # for the bank. Even though the check looks real, I was very questionable.

Was glad to see that I was not the only person that recieved the same kind of letter and check that I did. Also was glad to read that someone else was able to do further research on the company and the checks.
