Hybrid Design, James Sowers And Joseph Sowers
"Dummy" Corporation withholds money from employees, exploits young women, and threatens employees

I worked for James Sowers out of Sequim, WA. He claimed he ran a graphic design company called Hybrid Design. (I found out later his dad is the actual owner.) I worked for him about two months, and I started becoming suspicious of how controlling he was over the money he owed me, and how defensive he got when I asked questions about his company.

Originally he told me all the accounts that were being set up for me online through www.webcams.com and niteflirt I would be in control of. Little did I know, he lied and set everything up under his administrative accounts in order to have complete say in when and what I got paid even though he provided no service of any kind to deserve that control. He built me a cheap site, and that was supposed to be the only thing that went through him. He owes me money for 4 sites I worked with, they paid him and he refuses to pay me.

When I told him a week ago that I wanted to quit working with him, he told me he didn't owe me anything and if I tried to contact the authorities that they would side with him because his company had the administrative accounts. Unfortunately that's not how the system works, and I am currently doing as much as I can to let everyone know James Sowers is not an honest, or legitimate employer to work for.

He prays on young girls, and has control issues. He has a horrible temper as well, and I don't want any girls in this area looking to pursue modeling to use him. If you have daughters or sisters, or know anyone that is interested in Hybrid Design as an option, let them know it is extremely bad judgment to work with them and they'll probably never be paid.

I know other girls who have worked with him, and shortly after moved out of state. I, myself am not staying in the same town as him either. I do not trust him in business or personal matters. I have multiple reasons to believe much of the work he does is illegal and that's why he left southern california, to be in the middle of no where to work.
