The Beverage Works Inc Promotional contest drawn on Feb 8. A cashiers check appeared in a white envelope with a green postal stamp from Canada and no return address. According to the letter, we won $250,000 with the following entry numbers 11,7, 19,45, 26, and 8 in category C.

The letter head on the letter appears as such The Beverage Works Inc. 277-9976 202 Ave, Langley, B.C. V5Y 2P2 with a phone number 7783166704, that does not work.

The cashiers check for $5,985 is to be used for administration fee and applicable taxes payable to Tax Rep: SF 1800 Route 34 N ste 402, Wall, NJ 07719. The tax representatives amount is to be $5,500USD.

However, in order to claim the prize, one must contact an account representative Mr. KM at Beverage Works Financial Inc by calling him at 7783166704 within 15 business days for further instructions.

The letter is signed by RA (Promotions Manager) with a little notice to the participant; "As a security precaution this check is locked and the stipulated amount will be available to you after speaking with your acct representative Mr. KM.

The check is drawn on a reliable bank, lets say, that they were bought out by another bank WF, and received bailout money from the Federal Gov't. The address on check is the same address as the tax representative in Wall NJ. I contacted the FBI, and they were able to confirm that it is a scam.
