Franklin Collection Service. What right do I have in this situation?!

I currently owe about 1,350.00 in medical bills. Franklin Collection Services ended up buying my account. They would call repeatedly. Day & Night. I answered the phone when they called me in December. They told me the amount that I owe, and I told them I am in a bad financial situation and can only afford to pay 20 a month at this time. They said it was not sufficient, and wanted over 300 a month. I simply could not afford that amount. They asked me where I worked and wanted my banking information. I told them where I worked at and that was it. They are how many people were garnishing me at the moment, and no one was. They then told me that if I didn't call them back by the end of that particular business day with more money to offer then they would file a judgment against my on that day. They insisted that there was someone or some way to get them the type of money that they wanted. I kept telling them that they weren't working with me, and I was crying and truly scared of getting sued. I hung up with them, then called them back by the end of the business day. I agreed to pay 150 a month, and asked them to call me in March regarding the rest of the account. I make 260 a week at this point in time, and making those payments and providing for my child was hard, but I tried to manage.

In March, my financial situation changed for the worst. I had to step down to part time, due to my autistic child. I went from 260 a week, to 150-175 a week. I called Franklin Collection Services and told them I could no longer afford to pay them since my situation has changed. They threatened to sue me and garnish me again. I explained that I went down to making 450-500 a month. They insisted that I get child support, (I don't.), or have other means to pay them. She was extremely loud on the phone asking how I pay my other bills, and so forth. She asked me who supported me, and at that point in time I was so tired of being interrogated I said, and how is that any of your business? She then said, that's what I thought! We got you on a recording saying you will pay and you will pay this bill. She said they would draft at the end of the month and the funds "better be there." I am so tired of being threatened. From my understanding it's against the law for a collection agency to threaten you in this type of manner.
