This company turned a simple magazine subscription to an enraging, ridiculous scam!

I got a call from this magazine company to purchase 4 magazines for one payment off $4.99, so I agreed since the price was so low. After at least 15 minutes more of talking, I was talked into signing up for $68.28 a month for 19 months. I tried to be polite, so I went along with the saleswoman with intentions to cancel the payment later. I was told the payments would not begin until 6 to 8 weeks later, but, 30 minutes later, I looked at my bank account, and my money was gone! I was told on the phone that I could easily cancel my payment at any time. I call the next day to cancel it, and I am told I cannot do it because I made an oral agreement to the order. They say what they can do is allow me to make one payment of $68.28 and the rest would be cancelled. But before that, they tried to lower the monthly payments to a smaller and smaller amount, but I was not interested. It seems as if there is no policy when these people are trying to make bargains; they are just trying to put money in their pockets. I was lied to and scammed, and I am going to keep calling until I get my $68.28 back!
