XM Brands They charged my debit card $129.95 on February 18 without my authorization and refused to issue me a refund

On 2/2/09 I ordered a free trail of acai berry from XM Brands and was charged $4.95 to my debit card for shipping and handling. On 2/16/09 I had pending transcation for $129.95 from XM Brands, which cleared on 2/18/09. I called my bank to dispute the charge and they told me to contact XM Brands. I called XM Brands on several occassions in which I was put on hold for at least 30 minutes each time before someone picked up to help me. To make matters worse I would get transfered to different people to help me because their employees are incompetent.

I finally spoke with a Supervisor by the name of Sonja who told me to send a email to
customersupport@xmbrands.com to cancel the monthly subscription that I was automatically enrolled in. I received the products I was charged for about 2 weeks later and I promptly mailed it back to them. I then called again and was told I would get my refund for $129.95 and that it would take 24-48 hours to see the credit back into my checking account. However, this never happened. I kept calling them over and over about it, only to be told that now it will take 3-5 days to see the credit in my account. But they never issued me a refund.instead I end up talking to a woman by the name of Leticia in the Credit Dept. And she said they do not issue refunds and do not accept returns. Therefore, they were going to track down the products I mailed back to them and ship it back to me.

I got the products back but I am very unhappy because I feel like I have been scammed out of my hard earned money. They sent me 3 bottles of acai berry and 3 bottles of Regimex along with some cheap gifts like a paper thing bag. The vitamins are not worth $21 and some change a bottle. Way to high. I am very dissatisfied that this company refused to issue me a refund for products I did not order or want.

I have filed a claim with the West Palm BBB and the report came back that XM Brands did not respond to them. I am pretty sure that I am not the first to report them to BBB.in addition, I wrote the company about my dissatisfacation and cc the Attorney General of Florida. WARNING: Do not do business with XM Brands, they are a very shady company and will rip you off.
