XM Brands
Unauthorized Charge to Prepaid Debit Card

Miscellaneous

On Nov. 16th, I noticed an unauthorized charge of $84.84 on my prepaid visa debit card from XM Brands MU. I called the company on Nov. 17th and spoke with customer service about the charge. I told them it was unauthorized and that I wanted my money back because that money was for my son's christmas presents.
I was told by the customer service representative that I needed to cancel my membership, which I never applied for, and then they would credit $20 to my card. I told her that I wanted all my money back or I would litigate. She then took me through the cancellation process which required order information that I didn't have because I never ordered anything from them.
She then told me that I would receive a full refund in 10-12 business days. I called again on Nov. 27th to complain that I still hadn't received my refund, and was told that I had one more business day to wait. The next day, when my money wasn't credited back to my account I called again.
I was told that my refund had been lost and that my case would be forwarded to her boss as a high priority return, and that my refund should come in 10-15 business days. I still have not received my money back.
