Mother's Application was Ignored

My complaint with this company is that they let my mother's application for a housing grant go unnoticed for a period of time. My mother had to call to check on the progress. They then had to look for the file and finally tell her that it was denied and they had already notified the city and Texas Housing. But they never notified my mother and if they would have notified her in a timely manner, the problems could have been resolved in a timely manner and my mother would still qualify for the Housing Grant. The biggest problem is that they could not tell me why the claim was denied. They think because it was uninsurable. Bee County Title states that they never said that it was unisurable. It is too late now to get the grant. I am upset that they treated my 81 year old mother the way they did. My mother's home is in desperate need of repair. Did they assume that because of her age, it didn't matter, or maybe she wouldn't understand, or did they think the problem was too much for her to handle. Out of common courtesy, regardless, my mother should have been notified. The lines of communication with her was very unprofessional.
