Furniture error cost me

I wasted so much time with this store in the last 10 months. I ordered a sectional last march. I got the wrong piece. I took 5months of waiting for the material to come in from back order, that they said i could just pick a new fabric. What a head ache. The new section was reurned in october. The fabric was soo rough, my family didnt sit on it. The mistake is picking fabric from a swatch. How can you tell what the whole out come will be if you cant see it on display. They said i could re-select, again, i need to see it on the floor. I spent time and miles going to every differant store i could to see their floor displays. When i desided on leather instead of fabric, they said i had to get it custom made, but i liked one on the floor, and it cost less. I made a huge mistake with this store $. Very expensive! My co closed since and i really cant afford 4800. For a couch. I would gladly get something for half that amt. A floor model would be fine. But Mr. Smithe said NO, the policy is re-Select. I left the store in tears, spoke to a manager, I just want to be done with this place, cant afford thire prices, but i was bound to their policy RE-select for the same amt or greater! After phone calls and a letter, Mr smithe said i may return the sectional for a 20% restocking fee. = to $800. Wait a minute Im gonna pay you for your mistakes, and my time and aggrevation. I bought a brand new and very nice sofa for that amt and saw what i was getting not ordering from a bunch of samples. I have to chalk it up as a mistake. But not without letting others know about the three Smithe brothers and their cute commercial. They can pay millions for that, but wIll NOT give the little guy a break!
