Alternative Telemarketing told me that if I paid them $750 they would compile a list and use that list to telemarket for 1 month. Any leads that presented to my office as a result of the calls would be free for a month. I paid the bill on 12-31 and they did not have my list done for 3 months. I would make phone calls and send emails trying to determine what was going on. They never returned my calls.in over a month then never sent one person into my office. I have a hard time believing they did any phone calling at all. I called the "owner" Christina and she would not give me any reason as to why there was no performance on my account. I also asked her for proof (call logs) demonstrating that Alternative Telemarketing actually placed phone calls from the list they generated for me. She just stressed that I paid $750 for records and that there were no guarantees on leads being generated. I told her part of the agreement was that she make phone calls off those records for me for a month and I wanted proof that those calls had taken place. I told her I wanted my money back, I even offered to only take half of my money back to compensate her for time involved on my account. She stated she would get back to me and never did. I emailed her and phoned her several times and she never returned my calls. I contacted the attorney generals office in Rhode Island, he said there have been multiple complaints against Alternative Telemarketing. He also indicated there may be some fraudulant activity occuring with the business structure as the address they were using in R.I. Was not the actual business address. I contacted the Mass. Attorney generals office where their actual base of operation is and got the same answer from them. This company is not to be trusted in my opinion. I am filing complaints with the R.I. And Mass attorney generals office. Learn from my bad luck and do business with someone else.
