Paid $1,499.78 for two parts replaced on my furnace and the furnace did not work!

Called in Blau Pbg.Co, to service my furnance 2/25/09 They replaced 2 parts which have proved to be questionable whether or not they really needed replacing because they were able to get the furnace started and running. The first service man was in a big hurry to leave & couldn't stay to do the installation. Another service man was called in to install the two new parts. He also left in a bit of a hurry, charged us $1,499.78 which my daughter paid before he left. Within an hour it was very clear that the furnace was not running or heating. My daughter called them back the following morning. They offered to come back and replace another part!!! Not happy with the events that took place the day before with Blau plbg. She contacted another contractor. He came in diagnoised the problem, replaced a part for $300.00. The furnace worked and has been running ever since.

I have tried contacting Blau plg. To speak with the President Jim Blau to discuss this matter regarding the install of two parts, labor, tax, trip charge. I have been unable to communicate with him, he will only communicate through e-mail. Upon three attempts to try and get some sort of resolve to this bad situation he just continues to request more from me! Now I should take pictures... Send him my paper work from the contractors who fixed the furnace without once offering to speak, or send one of his "representatives" to my home. I have not been given the time of day. Of course not, he got $1,499.78 of my money, and I got a furnace that continued not to work!

A third party was called in to determine why Blau replaced 2 parts and still did not fix the furnace. My original parts have been tampered with and one part was cut so you are unable to re-install to verify if it was in need of replacement.

All I have to say is I hope this never happens to anyone else. We all have to work so hard today to make ends meet, feed our families and KEEP a roof over our heads. It would be nice to believe and trust there are good contractors out there. I am sure that there are, I do feel I fell victum to being ripped off.
