False office supply solicitation

I just received a call from a very friendly lady named Lee Mason. When I answered the phone she knew my name right away and also knew my bosses name. She said that she had spoken to him earlier about selling us office supplies. She then told me that she was from our area and was moving her business to Missouri to be closer to family. She said my boss had told her that we are limited on storage space and that we would order the smallest quantity she had. She went over items such as paperclips, pens, binder clips, highlighters, etc. She somehow knew which of each color/size, etc that we use. She said she had already moved all her stuff to Missouri and didn't even have a fax or computer with her, which was why she was using the phone and couldn't send me anything to look over. She said if I ever went to Missouri to give her a call and she would be my free tour guide. She also mentioned that she would throw in some free tape dispensers and something called a "cross pen". When I got off the phone, I spoke to my boss and he had NO IDEA what I was talking about. He said he had NEVER spoken to anyone about this type of stuff. I immediately tried looking her company up on the internet and there was no listings but luckily I found this website which had the address and phone number on it. Do not fall for this scam. If we would've gone through with this we would end up with a bill for close to a thousand dollars or more. I just called back immediately and left a message stating that the order was not approved, we do not want the merchandise, and will not pay for it/accept it if it arrives. Hopefully I'm as lucky as someone else on here and they call back and allow me to cancel it.
