Career Network
Bogus job offer, not clear whether placement agency or hiring company. Supposedly from Dir. Of Human Resources

Miscellaneous

After posting a resume on CareerBuilder.com, a computer program generated an e-mail to me purporting to be from S. Levine, Director of Human Resources at Career Network, Inc. The e-mail address was careers@sophisticatedcareers.com, which sounds like a placement or staffing agency. But the body of the message makes it sound like it's from the hiring company itself.
It sounded phony, trying too hard to say the sender he has "only extended this opportunity to a select number of qualified individuals." Yet the job doesn't even match my qualifications at all, which makes me think the computer program just picked up some keywords. S. Levine is not identified as Mr. Or Ms. There is a link to start the application process. I did not click on it, because I think they are phishing to see if they found an active e-mail address.instead of the usual Unsubscribe link at the bottom, the link is "I-wish_to be taken_off your_mailing list", that's right, one hyphen, some underbars and some spaces. Very odd. I didn't trust that link either. No physical address.
