Unauthorized Credit Check

I went to this dealer ship yesterday to look at cars. The person waiting on me took my name and home phone number. I was there about 10 minuets or more. The next day my consumer credit reporting agency told me someone was inquiring of my credit. It was Hamilton Chrysler. How did they get my information??? I went to the police and also called my Lawyer. The police officer went with me and we questioned the people. They were quilty and had nothing to say except they were sorry. I was really upset as now my score went down on my credit report an I never authorized them to check on me. I guess they were planning on harrsing me or somelthing. Do not trust them. They are corrupt thiefs... What were they going to do with my information anyway sell it??? What next. Don't trust them. Dirty business... Bad service too.
