Prepaid Debit Cards Green Dot Corporation Debit Card - Reported me to credit bureau even after I paid

This is the worst debit card/prepaid card company I have used. First of all, they authorized a fraudulent charge (my card was on file because I paid the 10 dollar processing fee previously with my World Perks Miles) by Northwest Airlines. My ex boyfriend changed his flight schedule and Green Dot let the transaction go through even though I didn't have enough funds for the transaction, plus, it wasn't me who authorized it, Northwest Airlines charged it when ex called in to change his flight. I notified Northwest and Green Dot and canceled that card, so they sent me a new card. I have been using the old card for a while, when suddenly I was declined trying to purchase my baby's prescription meds. Green Dot told me I owed them money from the old card number. I told them that was a fraudulent charge and it wasn't my fault that they let the 50 dollar transaction go through when I only had 10 or 20 dollars in the account. They said I still have to pay it.

So I did, I loaded more money on my current card and they activated my card again. When I pulled my credit report, I have a collection agency report the same transaction on my credit history. I called both parties, collection agency and Green Dot numerous times and to this day, these idiots haven't taken the negative report off of my history.

First of all, this is a prepaid company and they are not supposed to report to credit bureaus, secondly, that account has been paid even though it was their fault for letting the transaction go through fraudulently. And they haven't contacted the dumb people from the collection agency to let them know it is paid. I have let this pass for a few years, but I am ready to file a small civil suit against Green Dot and this collection agency. Both are lazy and irresponsible and dumb. Green Dot charges around 5 dollars a month for their debit card service but yet reports you to the credit bureau when your accounts go negative after they let a fraudulent trans go through. This company is a fraud.
