We bought a 2002 Nissan Altima from Drivetime in February. Almost immediately we started noticing problems. Rough start, drinking water and coolant, and oil like crazy. Check engine light came on. Took it in to have the scan run, was only showing a misfire. But nothing was wrong, supposedly. Now, March I have water in my oil, and most likely a blown head gasket. Have already had to fix the air conditioner. Got on here and found the same problems with many owners of this same car. Called Drivetime, we owe about 14K on this piece of crap. They said the car was out of warranty but they could offer a "repair" loan, yeah right, at another 24% interest! Now I have a very expensive paper weight sitting in my drive and no where to turn! I cannot afford the repair bills but now I don't have a car! Can anyone help??? These people are selling crap cars, they know it and they continue to get away with it! This car is a lemon!!!
