My fiance and myself recently bought a 2005 KIA Sorento vehicle from DriveTime on 3/21. Along with the 3&5 year warranty. We started experiencing. Some problems with this car around 4/5 and called the warranty place, Averex, they instructed us to take the car in for a diagnostics test to a Nissan dealer. We took our car in and found out that the power steering hose has a leak in it and is dripping onto the power steering pump itself which the warranty wont cover. They also wont cover the diagnostics fee from the Nissan dealership which they sent us too. Then the dealership wouldnt give us our car back if we didnt pay the $120.00 fee. Mind you we have only had our car now for a about 3 weeks total and we have already paid our first car note and we cannot drive our car. We have a family of 4 and no means of transportaion. The warrant company nor the Dealership is trying to help us. They sold us a car that had serious problems and told us we just have to deal with it. Please help us if you can we not only dont have a car to drive but now we are missing work because of it and owe drivetime 19,700 dollars.
