Cubatravelus took my money

Contacted Cubatravelus to arrange a trip and paid $2294 certified funds Sept. 2008 for a trip in Feb. 2009. Arrived in Cancun and went to advised location to pick up tour package. Told by local agent, who will verify this, Octavio @ divermex.com that the trip was never paid for and there for we had no booking. Attempts by the agent and ourself proved unable to reach Madison or anyone who wood help us. We were stranded in Cancun. Upon return I've contacted this agent and asked for my money back. First she said "Fed Ex" didn't deliver. Later she said "Western Union" was unable to deliver. Then she said we had to wait for a refund from Divermex, who never got any money from Cubatravelus. The refund was due from Cubatravelus and all I get from them is stating they will refund the money "in the future". They have had my money since Sept. 08 and did leave us stranded in Cancun. We incurred additional expenses and lost vacation days. We received Nothing from them. I just want my money back. We're not asking for anything extra. They have stated on "Ripoff" that they have made arrangements to pay me and the claim is settling. Totally untrue. I have not received one cent.
