I checked online before I deposited the check and thank the Lord I did. This is not unlike the email scams that we have all become aware of where the uncle has died and to avoid taxes they ask us to please deposit a check for them and then send only a small portion back to them. Please let your local news folks know of this scam. The letter did come priority USPS and has the BBB logo as well as some sorg of bar code. Is there somewhere I can send this so that I could add fuel to the fire for a suit even though I did not bite the bullet?
